Needs Analysis is the first step of the customer-centric design process in which we conduct a formal, systematic, exploration of your functional requirements. These are carefully analysed to ensure that are fully understood and that nothing has been overlooked. The deliverables can be used as input for planning and design, to create RFPs/RFQs, or to confirm that proposals received meet your technical requirements. 

Based on a robust understanding of your needs, we plan workflow and design cold storage and production workspaces (or other controlled environment spaces) as required to deliver on your needs. Deliverables can be 2D or 3D drawings and accompanying specifications as desired. These can be used to assess options and to plan and execute projects.

Based on 2D or 3D drawings, we can provide budget breakdown costings for your project. As required, these can be supplemented with an estimated project timeline to further support your project budgeting process.

Our project management services are available to support you from whatever stage of your project(s) you like. We can manage your build from the design stage to the day of completion, ensuring smooth communication and coordination with all trades on-site to deliver your project for you. With daily communication or reports, as desired, you will be kept fully aware of progress and will have peace of mind that your project is in safe hands.

• Reports: An auditing team will assess and identify all health and safety hazards in your cold store areas. We focus on doors, panel protection from pallet or fork trucks and other safety issues. The deliverables are a report that includes recommendations and explanations to help you understand all findings.
• Incident Investigations: In the unfortunate event that something bad happens, we are able to investigate the incident to identify the root cause and furnish you with an Incident Report. This can be used to help with insurance claims and to trigger corrective and preventative actions. We can also help you investigate “near misses” and make recommendations on managing future risks. 

Having the right insulation is key to maintaining your product in optimal environmental conditions, but also for minimising energy and operational costs.  Aircold’s team of designers will analyse your project needs and make a recommendation for the optimum panel for your controlled environment needs, either for new build projects or retrofit applications. This recommendation will not just focus on initial capital cost, but ongoing running costs over the life of your asset.

An experienced Installation Supervisor will assess your project throughout each stage of your project, focusing on quality of work, compliance with standards, and ensuring the work meets your needs. The deliverable is a report that provides peace of mind or actionable information on project remedial action requirements.

Inspecting and reporting will be carried out by one of our highly experienced teams. We concentrate on all aspects of the cold storage areas that the client requires. Detailed reports will be presented along with action points and recommendations.
